Marketing, the life line of any business. The cure of all. If you have great marketing and sales strategy, I promise you, most of your problems will go away.
With all the information out there, it can be scary to get started. I’m here to tell you today it doesn’t have to be.
In order to begin, you have to be exactly where you are at right now.
I’m going to share with you some basic tips on how to get started.
- Find a mentor – This is one of the most crucial ideas of all time!! You need to find a mentor that knows what they’re talking about. They’ve been though trials and tribulations, they’ve gone through it and show us the way so we don’t have to make the same mistakes they did. They’re a blessing really. No one said they’re perfect teachers though, YOU just have to be the perfect student. Choose one and learn from the best.
- Bulletproof mentality – If they don’t have what you want or what you’re after, whyyyy would you take advice from them on that? Thicken up the barrier that keeps you away mentally from naysayers. They’re everywhere so you have to develop a do or die mentality when it comes to your success. Be a boss, connect with like minded people, join groups on social media, anything to keep you accountable when you feel derailed because it will happen. Key to mindset = Personal development. READ BOOKS, audiobooks, YouTube, anything. Just keep growing. You’ll achieve that mindset.
- Time – it takes time. It’s a process. Don’t fall for the overnight success story. The only way you’re going to get where you want and make it last is by trusting the process. Time is the key to this game. Too many times, people try a couple types of strategies on marketing and go “Ugh it doesn’t work” and quit. Thta’s not how to do it. Effort will show over time, when it decides to sprout the fruit of your labor, it’ll be glorious. Keep at it, don’t quit.Learn it, get good at it. Focus on what works and what doesn’t. Experiment. Whatever you do, just don’t quit.
Like it or not, this is the future. This is what we must know.
If you have 99 problems, I guarantee sales/marketing can solve most of them.
